Basingstoke Bluefins Swimming Club
Spring Championships - May 14th 2006
The Basingstoke Bluefins Spring Championships will take place on Sunday May 14th at the Aquadrome.
This competition is open to all members of Bluefins with the exception of swimmers in level 1 and 2 teaching groups.
There will be 3 sessions:

All ages as at 14th May 2006.
| Awards:: | Medals will be awarded to the first 3 swimmers in each
event. A trophy will be presented to the best overall boy and girls in each age group based on cumulative British Age Group Points (4 best swims to count). |

| Entry Fees: | £2 per event; maximum £10 for 5 or 6 events. |
|
| Heats: | Swimmers will be arranged into heats according to
previous best times (slowest first). Swimmers who have not recorded a time will swim first in ascending age order. Swimmers will swim together as follows:
Results will be calculated for each individual age group. |

| Registration: | Swimmers must register before the start of warm-up for
the first session in which they are swimming. There will not be entry
cards for this competition. |

| Entries: | Entries may either be made via the club web site
www.swimbluefins.org or by
filling in an entry form and posting to: Mike Lambert, 79 Camrose Way, Basingstoke, Hants, RG21 3AW. The closing date for entries is Friday May 5th. No NOT hand your entry to any teacher or coach. Do NOT leave your entry form in the club office at the Aquadrome. |
| * | Swimmers must be capable of swimming 25m in deep water (there is no
shallow end at the Aquadrome pool). If in doubt consult your teacher.
The club reserves the right to refuse entry on health and safety gounds
to anyone who in the opinion of teachers is not capable of swimming one
length. |
