Monday 6:30-7:30 pm
Tuesday 6:00-7:30 am; 5:00-7:15 pm
Wednesday 6:00-7:30 am; 5:00-7:15 pm
Thursday 6:00-7:30 am; 5:00-7:15 pm
Saturday 9:00-10:00 am
Sunday 5:00-7:30pm
Land conditioning 15 min prior to session + extra to follow
Long Course training By separate arrangements
Commitment: Swimmers are expected to attend for a minimum 80% of training time in order to maintain their place within the squad, unless exceptional circumstances, foe example, work commitments, prevent this. Members of the squad must try to attend all sessions per week in order to achieve all training goals.
Feeder groups: Training to Train by bridging, external sources
Criteria: Commitment and dedication to difficult training schedules whilst maintaining best technique in all strokes over distance. Starts and turns in accordance with ASA technical laws. Achievement of district qualifying times and within striking distance of national times.
Development: Achievement of National times. Development of all technical aspects of swimming, land based exercises. Maintenance of log book, demonstration of nutritional understanding, sports psychology.
Age range: 12 - Adult
Competition: Swimmers must be available for Speedo League, other league galas, appropriate open meets, club competitions and time trials.
