This new Open Meet has been introduced in response to the need to set times for County Championships in a licensed meet.

Over 2 days, this competition will offer the same programme as the Hampshire County ASA BAGCAT competition, with the exception of events of 400m and above, where the requirement to set times in a licensed meet has been waived by Hampshire County ASA for 2008.

No swimmer who has recorded a time equal to or faster than the 2007 ASA South East Region qualifying time may enter. If the event is oversubscribed, entries form swimmers who have already achieved the 2008 Hampshire County ASA Qualifying times will be rejected first (see the full conditions for details).

This competition is for Boys aged 9-14 years and girls aged 9-13 years and is open to any swimmer registered with the ASA (i.e. Not restricted to those from Hampshire clubs).

In addition to awards for 1st. 2nd and 3rd places, all swimmers will receive a certificate listing times recorded and appropriate BAG points, and times will be submitted for inclusion in the ASA National Rankings.
 

 

 
   

Spectators:
There is limited accommodation for spectators at the Aquadrome. In the event that there are more spectators than can safely be accommodated, we reserve the right to refuse entry.
Spectator entry fees:

  • Single session - £3
  • Complete day - £5
  • Two days - £8

Programmes will be available priced £1 per day, covering both sessions on that day.

Coaches:
Coach passes are not required for this competition. Each club may have a maximum of 2 coaches/team managers who MUST be registered with the ASA.
